La Capella de la Pietat is a hermitage located in the town of Sant Llorenç de Morunys and it is included in the Catalan Architectural Patrimony Inventory. Because of the existence of an altarpiece from 1480, it has been deduced that the construction age took place, at least in the final years of the 15th century.
This is made up by a single nave and one porch. Over the years it has been remodelled and in the middle of the 20th century the porch was mortared and became an interior part of the hermitage. The most prominent piece of this hermitage is el retaule de la Pietat (the altarpiece of the piety).
How to get there?
The hermitage is in the village of Sant Llorenç de Morunys, in Berga road, close to the Tourism Office of la Vall de Lord.
