Sant Andreu del Pujol del Racó church
Sant Andreu del Pujol del Racó is a Romanesque church situated in the town of La Coma i La Pedra, included in the Catalan Architectural Patrimony Inventory. It’s next to the country house El Pujol del Racó, half hidden due to the vegetation. It’s made up of one nave and a squared apse, with a triumphal arch as a separation.
In the past it was known with the name Sant Andreu del Mossoll, because that’s the name of the nearest torrent. One of the first news of this church is dated from 1050.
How to get there?
From the village of Sant Llorenç we should take the road LV-4012 direction La Coma. Remain on this road until you reach, in the km 4,6, a path in the eastern side. But the vehicles can’t go for this path, and we should park and go at foot. Within 2,3 km, and leaving on the right side La Torre de la Vila, we take a path on the left side and within 400 m we arrive at the church.
