Starting and arrival point at Prats de Bacies’ shelter.

This route is located in the south-eastern part of Port del Comte mountain range and it crosses the Prats de Bacies (Bacies meadows) and Port del Comte’s mountain range. During the route, we will find different “dolines”, dry ponds typical of the area and mountain pine forests. You can enjoy the excellent views of Solsonès and the Cadí’s mountain range from the Querol’s viewpoint. It is recommendable to stop at Bòfia’s pothole, a natural well of 30-40m depth that in the past was used as an ice well.

In winter, we advise precaution in the routes by vehicle to the starting points because of the presence of snow or ice on the road.

Time: 2h 30 min.

Cumulative elevation gain: 402 m.

Seasonality: you can do this route only during the months of spring-summer and autumn. In winter it is recommended to do with snowshoes the signposted routes from the ski resort of Port del Comte.

* It is recommended go by 4×4 or tall car to arrive at the starting point
