{"id":3528,"date":"2017-03-15T15:03:18","date_gmt":"2017-03-15T15:03:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lavalldelord.com.mialias.net\/?page_id=3528"},"modified":"2025-12-21T10:31:27","modified_gmt":"2025-12-21T09:31:27","slug":"entorn","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lavalldelord.com\/en\/la-vall-de-lord\/entorn\/","title":{"rendered":"Environment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Vall de Lord<\/em> is a little valley located at the upper area of <em>Solson\u00e8s<\/em>; this area exhibits a perfect combination of <strong>mountains<\/strong>,<strong> rivers<\/strong>,<strong> vegetation <\/strong>and<strong> animals<\/strong>; all of them represents the main natural elements that we can found in the Pre-Pyrenees.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Vall de Lord<\/em> borders <em>Port del Comte<\/em>&#8216;s mountain range on the West \u2013 North West, <em>Verd<\/em>&#8216;s mountain range on the North East, <em>Rasos de Peguera<\/em> on the East and <em>Busa<\/em> and <em>Bastets<\/em> mountain ranges on the South. Some of these mountains present an extravagant and peculiar relieve, such as <em>Busa <\/em>and <em>Bastets<\/em> mountain ranges; their formation has been object of study for many geologists around the world.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lavalldelord.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/panoramica_busa_petita-600x160.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Among these mountains we found several streams and torrents that, during the rainy seasons, supply the main rivers: <em>Les fonts del Cardener <\/em>(=Cardener source) with its origin in <em>La Coma i La Pedra <\/em>town or <em>Aigua de Valls <\/em>River which flows along <em>Guixers<\/em> area.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/lavalldelord.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/arre_natura-600x400.jpg\" width=\"382\" height=\"254\" \/>Due to the great variability of relief, this valley comprises different types of vegetation that covers all the area. Predominantly we can found Pre-Pyrenean landscapes made up by subalpine meadows and a great diversity of forests: uncinated pines forests at highest parts of the mountain and oaks and scots pine forests at the lower parts.
