Sant Quirze i Santa Julita church
Sant Quirze i Santa Julita is the parish church of La Coma’s centre, in the town of La Coma i La Pedra and it is included in the Catalan Architectural Patrimony Inventory.
The current construction is probably dated from the 18th century with modifications from the 19th, but is still preserved the ironwork door belonging to the first Romanesque church – the first reference of this door is from 1040.
This is a church with a single nave with lateral chapels and without apse. The rectory is connected to the church and in the north-eastern part there is a bell tower. Inside the church there is preserved a wooden altarpiece from the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th.
How to get there?
From Sant Llorenç de Morunys we take the road LV-4012 direction La Coma, where we will arrive 5,8 km later. The church is in close to the Plaça Major.
