Romanesque bridge of Vallonga
Vallonga’s Bridge is a Romanesque bridge built between the 12th-13th centuries. It is a beautiful model with a single semi-circular arch. This bridge was originally located in Vallonga strait (Guixers) and in the past it allowed to cross the Cardener River.
When the reservoir of La Llosa del Cavall was built (1997), the area around the bridge became a flood area; as a consequence, Vallonga Bridge was dismantled and rebuild at less than one kilometre of Sant Llorenç de Morunys, in the road that goes to the municipality of La Coma i La Pedra, exactly where is the limit between the municipalities of Sant Llorenç de Morunys and Guixers.

How to get there?
From the village of Sant Llorenç de Morunys we should take the road C-462 towards La Coma and La Pedra; approximately in less than un kilometre we find a green area with benches where we find the signpost of the bridge. We will have to descent by a path that will bring us directly to the bridge.
*To this point is recommendable to go on foot from Sant Llorenç de Morunys because there is not many space to park.
