It’s frequented for visitors during all the year: in summer by the summer visitors, in autumn by people who like to look for mushrooms in the forest and in winter, by the skiers. The village preserves the medieval structure that was surrounded by an old wall with pentagonal shape. It had (and also nowadays) five entrances to the old village; into it, we can found a Romanesque church with its cloister.
Despite the sackings that the village suffered during the Spanish civil war (1936-39), its Romanesque church preserves some works like wall paintings dated from the 14th century and several altarpieces such as a Gothic altarpiece (14th), the Major altarpiece (Baroque), l’altar dels Colls (Baroque) and the Sant Miquel i Sant Joan Baptista altarpiece (15th).
People and inhabitants of Sant Llorenç de Morunys are knowed with the popular name of “Piteus”. This name comes from an old textile industry where was weaved wool clothes, called Drap Piteu. Nowadays, in the main square, we can still see the upper part of buildings made with wood and used to dry these clothes in the past.
Even though, nowadays we cannot found drap piteu but there are different shops with local products such as cold cuts, cheese, apples, mushrooms…

La Coma i la Pedra is a privileged town with many water resources: in winter there is the Port del Comte sky station and, in summer, there are the medicinal waters from La Puda’s source or the waterfalls of Cardener river which becomes a tributary of Llobregat river.
The water has always been a valued resource in this village; in the past, people used a mountain sinkhole as natural ice well to keep the ice preserved. Nowadays this point is known as Forat de la Bòfia. Also we have to emphasize many little waterfalls near La Pedra which were used as a source of energy of a textile factory in the past.
Into the old village we can found the church of Sant Quirze i Santa Julita. From this point, there’s a short walk, following the Cardener river, to the next village: La Pedra. In this, we found the Romanesque church of La Pedra, consecrated in 962. Near it, we found the ruins of La Pedra’s castle, dated from the XIV century and property of Cardona family.
Near La Pedra we found La Puda source, known for its smell and curative and medicinal properties. This point has been became a touristic attraction.
Also it is high recommended to visit the little hermitages distributed among the valley: Sant Lleïr de Casabella, Santa Magdalena de les Tragines or Sant Cristòfol dels Pasqüets.
